MOL DP Training Center Educational Course (Certified by ClassNK):
1. DP Basic Course

(1) Target Participants

This course is intended for anyone who wishes to develop a fundamental understanding of Dynamic Positioning (DP).
In particular, it is designed for the following participants:

• ① Those who wish to acquire preliminary knowledge in preparation for NI certification
  This course is especially recommended for those planning to attend an NI-certified DP Induction Course or the Key Technical DP Personnel (DP Vessel Maintainer) Course, but who have little or no prior experience working with DP systems. It is also beneficial for those who may feel less confident participating in courses delivered in English. Taking the DP Basic Course beforehand will help build a solid foundation and facilitate a better learning experience in the NI courses.
• ② Anyone wishing to gain basic knowledge of DP, regardless of whether they hold maritime qualifications
  The course is suitable for both seafarers and non-seafarers who would like to acquire a fundamental understanding of DP concepts, systems, and operations.

(2) Course Outline

• This is a two-day course conducted in Japanese by Japanese maritime professionals.
  (Course finishing times may vary depending on the progress of the class)
  Day 1: 9:00 – 17:00
  Day 2: 9:00 – 17:00
• The course content is structured in line with the lecture topics of the NI DP Induction Course.
• Face-to-face instruction only　(Online training is not available.)
