We offer added-value support services with a constant awareness of legal compliance and procedures associated with embarkation of Japanese-flagged vessels, aiming to be a group that customers can rely on.
1. GC/LC services
We offer union-related services such as obtaining documents certifying that each ship in the MOL Group fleet meets the working conditions required by the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) or the All Japan Seamen's Union (JSU), depending on the ship's registry.
2. Services related to Japanese flagged vessel / the deemed Japanese flagged vessel
We are entrusted by shipowners and ship management companies to carry out various procedures related to the Japanese-flagged vessel / the deemed Japanese-flagged vessel with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (JG).
Main services
- Overall procedures including JG inspection and registration related to registration of Japanese-flagged vessels
- Procedures related to maintenance and management of JG certificates, including certificate renewal and rewriting
3. JISS operations
We provide services for foreign seafarers on board Japanese-flagged vessels, including application for qualifications, licenses, etc. on their behalf.
4. Seafarer employment management services for Japanese-flagged vessels
We provide general services such as notifications of hiring and termination of employment and other government procedures related to embarkation and disembarkation of Japanese-flagged vessels.
